Howard S. Yaruss joined Primus in December of 2006 as General Counsel. Prior to joining Primus, Mr. Yaruss was Executive Vice President, Secretary, General Counsel and Corporate Responsibility Officer of Radian Group Inc. Prior to joining Radian in July 1997, he served as Assistant General Counsel of Capital Reinsurance Company, the predecessor to Assured Guaranty. Prior to that, he was associated with the law firms of Willkie Farr & Gallagher and Baker & McKenzie. He received a B.S. from Brown University and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. He is a member of the New York and Pennsylvania Bars.
